Security checks are designed to protect suppliers and reduce duplicate or suspicious registrations.
Hard validation checks
Registrations can be blocked where the platform detects obvious problems such as:
- Duplicate ID or passport details
- Duplicate cellphone number
- Duplicate email address
- Reused payment reference
- Invalid South African ID checksum
- Other clear registration conflicts
Additional security flags
Some information may require additional review rather than an automatic block. Examples include shared bank accounts, repeated addresses, unusually similar registration details or unusual sponsor activity.
Selfie capture
A selfie is captured during enrolment as part of the supplier registration record and verification process.
Face ID, fingerprint and device verification
Supported devices may use Face ID, fingerprint or another device authentication method through WebAuthn.
Your device performs the biometric authentication. House & Kitchen Suppliers does not receive or store your fingerprint or Face ID biometric template through WebAuthn.
We do not claim Home Affairs integration, biometric face matching or true liveness detection unless those capabilities are formally introduced in future.
